Here is what Floyd learned about risk taking from life of Caleb in Numbers 13:

1. Risk takers hear from God and go for it.
2. Risk takers get more than they bargain for.
3. Risk takers get no guarantees it will be easy.
4. Risk taking destroys all confidence in human strategy or models.

As my friend Jim Y. says, "Many want to see a great harvest, but they don't have the work ethic or the risk taking spirit to see it happen".
